ELIGIBILITY

• Open to VSGA members who have not reached their 19th birthday by July 29, 2025 and did not graduate high school prior to 2025.
• All participants must hold an active GHIN number issued by a licensed VSGA member club in good standing.
• All participants must meet the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.

ENTRY FEE/DEADLINE

All players are required to submit an entry form with the entry fee of $105 by Monday, July 21, 2025.

• Entry fee includes all course fees for all rounds of competition.
• The VSGA will negotiate a discounted practice fee with host club.

FORMAT

Championship Proper – Field limited to 144 players, accepted by lowest Handicap Index

July 29 – Round one of stroke play qualifying (field cut to low 60 players and ties)

July 30 – Round two of stroke play qualifying (top 16 players advance to match play)

July 31 – Round of 16 and Quarterfinals of match play

August 1 – Semifinal and Final matches

PRIZES & EXEMPTIONS

• Trophies will be awarded to the Champion, Finalist, and Semifinalists.
• A VSGA medal will be awarded to the Medalist.
• All players advancing to match play receive an exemption into the 2026 VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship.
• The Champion receives an exemption into the VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship for all remaining years of eligibility.

CADDIE INFORMATION

• Players may have a caddie, but he/she must meet the same age requirements for the tournament as the player.
